The Philadelphia 76ers will play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Wells Fargo Center in the NBA on Wednesday. The Sixers (15-22) are 11th in the Eastern Conference while OKC (32-6) lead the Western Conference standings. Check out our match prediction below. 

The Philadelphia 76ers are yet to get going this season and are now looking to avoid a third consecutive defeat after going down 104-99 to the Orlando Magic on Monday. 

Tyrese Maxey and Paul George scored 29 and 25 points respectively, but the team ran out of steam in the fourth quarter, managing just 22 points, which allowed Orlando to pull away to victory.

The Sixers are the fourth-lowest-scoring team in the NBA this season (107.4 PPG), but they are top 10 on the defensive end, allowing just 110.6 PPG (ninth overall).

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been head-and-shoulders the best in the West this season, now gunning their 18th win in 20 after thumping the Wizards 136-95 on Monday. 

Shai Gilgoeus-Alexander once again put in a standout performance with 27 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Aaron Wiggins finished with 23 points and nine rebounds. 

OKC are ranked 10th in the scoring charts this season, averaging 115.2 points per game, but they possess the league’s best defence, which allows just 103.2 PPG.
