The Philadelphia 76ers will be aiming to bounce back from a disappointing loss on Sunday night when they failed to defend a 26-point lead, falling 118-110 to the Boston Celtics.

Tyrese Maxey led the team with 34 points, three rebounds and six assists, but Philly imploded in the final quarter, converting just 28% of their 18 field attempts which led to the defeat.

The 76ers average 109.1 points per game this season (25th in the league) while allowing 112.7 PPG (14th overall). 

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks will be out to avoid a third straight defeat after a 144-101 dismantling at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.

Dallas failed to threaten on offence with only Jaden Hardy breaking the 20-point mark, while a shocking display from Klay Thompson saw him convert just one of 10 field attempts. 

The Mavs are averaging 115.3 points per game (11th overall) and are slightly weaker on defence as they allow 113.3 PPG (16th in the league).
