Petra Martić vs Iga Swiatek Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Indian Wells

Iga Swiatek is the second seed for the Indian Wells tournament. The Pole has climbed to a career-high fourth in the world rankings and takes on Petra Martic in round two. Swiatek received a bye into the second round and if winning this match, faces either 25th seed Veronika Kuderetova or Liudmila Samsonova. The 20-year-old has won two titles this year and one was the Rome Masters, where she beat Karolina Pliskova (top seed at Indian Wells) without losing a game. Swiatek hasn't been in the best of form of late but did make the semi-final in Ostrava last week. 

Petra Martic is ranked 45th and that's well below the 13th position the German held last year. Martic's best form this year has been on clay with a run to the semi-final of the Rome Masters, the tournament won by Swiatek. That was followed by a quarter final in Parma but it's been downhill since then. Only four of her last 11 matches have been won and it's hard to see her troubling Swiatek in this match. Go for the Pole to win this in straight sets.
