Petra Kvitová vs Aryna Sabalenka Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Finals

The WTA tournament in Doha is being contested between the eighth and ninth seeds. Petra Kvitova is the highest seeded player and takes on Aryna Sablenka as she bids to win her first WTA title since 2018. Kvitova caused a big shock in the semi-final when knocking out world number one Ashleigh Barty in three sets (the middle set being the one lost). It's been a tough time for Kvitova this week with two other matches going to three sets. She had to come from behind in the second round to get past Carla Suarez Navarro and Jelena Ostapenk also took her to a final set decider. Even her straight sets victory over Ons Jabeur went to two tie-breaks.

Ninth seeded Aryna Sabalenka had an easier semi-final victory as she beat unseeded Svetlana Kuznetsova in straight sets. Sabalenka also had a few battles before that win. Anna Kontaveit took her to three sets and in the quarter final, she had to come from behind to defeat Zhgen Saisai. Sabalenka has won the Wuhan Open for the past two years and this is her first WTA tournament final outside of that event. This should be an entertaining final between two big hitters and the slight preference is for Kvitova to win the title.
