Qualifier Hamad Medjedovic and the unseeded Pedro Cachin will on Saturday duel in the Swiss Open semifinals. He has won 20 of the 26 matches he has played on the surface and is now up 102 places in the live ranking. His win over Hanfman has him in a new career-high ranking of number 144.
