French rivals Paris and Monaco will battle each other next in the EuroLeague when the former host’s the two’s matchday 28 tie on Wednesday. Both teams are tied on the same record with Monaco in fourth edging Paris in sixth by points difference. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

Paris have won both times they have faced off with Monaco this season across all competitions. They won the reverse match in Europe back in October 87-80 and then 111-104 in their most recent domestic league match last December.

This 100% record should have Tiago Splitter’s men confident of a win here. Paris, who have compiled a 16-11 record, were defeated on Monday 87-83 by Fenerbahce in a rescheduled fixture.

Monaco have lost their last two games in Europe. Vassilis Spanoulis’ men could fall out of the automatic playoff places with a loss in Paris. They, therefore, cannot afford a third successive loss.

Monaco, who were in action last week in Europe, suffered an 86-80 defeat away to Milan. Tied with three other teams on the same record, Monaco have compiled a 5-5 record in their last 10 games in Europe.

The French giants had lost just twice in 11 meetings with Paris before this season.
