The Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics will return to the Kia Center for Game 4 of their NBA Playoff series on Sunday. The Celtics were beaten by the Magic in Game 3 but still lead the series 2-1. Let’s get into the match prediction.

And just like that, we have a series on our hands, as the Orlando Magic, after barely getting a sniff in the first two games, managed to make home court advantage count to pull off a 95-93 win on Friday.

As has been the case the entire season, Orlando’s greatest strength is their defence, and that was evident in the last match when they forced the C’s into 19 turnovers and managed nine steals.

There are still question marks around their offence, though. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner were responsible for two-thirds of the team’s points in the last match, while only one other Magic player ended in double-digits. 

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics played well below their usual level in the last match. Despite Jayson Tatum scoring 36 points, as a team, they shot 44.6% from the field and made just nine three-pointers.

A portion of their underperformance in the last game is attributable to the Magic’s strangling defence, but fitness concerns are also starting to creep into the Celtics camp recently. 

Tatum was forced to sit out Game 2, Jrue Holiday was absent in Game 3 and will not return for this match, and Jaylen Brown is now listed as questionable with a knee issue.
