Ons Jabeur vs Marie Bouzkova Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA US Open

2022 finalist Ons Jabeur takes on 31st seeded Marie Bouzkova in the third round of the US Open. The fifth seed will hope this is the tournament when she finally wins a Grand Slam title. Three finals have been lost in the last 12 months, two at Wimbledon and one here last year. Jabeur is sixth in the live rankings and this is only her second tournament since losing the Wimbledon final. The Tunisian returned to the tour in the Western & Southern Open, losing in the last eight to Aryna Sabalenka. Her one title this year was won on clay and on hard courts, she also got to the last four of the first Adelaide International tournament. The first round of this Grand Slam wasn't easy for Jabeur due to illness but eventually she beat Camilla Osorio in straight sets. Round two saw her have to go to a final set to beat unseeded Linda Noskova who had beaten her in that Adelaide semi-final. 

This is the first time that Bouzkova has faced Ons Jabeur. The world number 31 is up a place in the live rankings. This has not been a good Grand Slam in the past with her first four times in the main draw seeing her lose in the first round. 2022 saw her get to round two and she's gone another round further this year. Her best Grand Slam performances have been on grass at Wimbledon with a quarter final last year and the fourth round reached this summer. The Czech played three hard court tournaments in recent weeks with her best peformance being a last eight in Cincinnati but she retired after three games. No sets have been lost on her way to this third round. Only three games were lost against Petra Martic in round two. This is tougher and we go for Jabeur to get the win.
