Second seeded Aryna Sabalenka is through to her first ever Grand Slam quarter final. She has a tough task awaiting her with in-form Ons Jabeur her opponent. Sabalenka has been busy piling up ranking points in the weekly tournaments but before this tournament had only got to the fourth round of a Grand Slam. Grass isn't her best surface and this is the first time she's even got past the second round at Wimbledon. That didn't look likely at one stage as she trailed Katie Boulter by a set in round two. Sabalenka has won two titles this year but this is a return to form after a poor French Open and she failed to make it to the last four in her two grass court warm-up tournaments. The last round here saw her defeat Elena Rybakina but again it took her three sets.

Ons Jabuer is the in-form player at present. The Tunisian won the grass court tournament held in Birmingham and lost to the eventual winner in Eastbourne. The world number 24 can go into the top 20 for the first time if winning this match. Before this tournament, Jabeur had failed to get past the second round at Wimbledon. She's beaten two former Wimbledon champions on her way to the last eight. Venus Williams was beaten in round two and Garbine Muguruza in the next round. The last 16 saw her go a set down to Iga Swiatek but then she won the next two with only a couple of games being lost. Sabalenka has improved as this tournament has progressed but this is a tough one. Go for over 21.5 games in the match, slight preference is for Jabeur to knock out the second seed.
