Ons Jabeur vs Aliaksandra Sasnovich Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Berlin Open

It's been a good year for Ons Jabeur bar an early exit in the French Open. The Tunisian takes on Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the last eight of the Berlin Open. Jabeur is up to fourth in the world and the top seed in this tournament.  She'll  hoping for a good Wimbledon this year after getting to the quarter final there last year. 2021 also saw her win the grass court tournament held in Birmingham and has a good chance here of winning another tournament on grass. 2022 has seen a lot of success with a title in Madrid and finals in Rome and Charleston plus four quarter finals. Only Iga Swiatek has earned more ranking points than Jabeur this year, though the Pole has more than double the number of points. This week has seen her beat grass-court specialist Karolina Muchova and qualifier Alycia Parks, without losing a set.

Aliaksandra Sasnovich is the world number 38 but being Belarusian won't be at Wimbledon this year. Sasnovich is in only her second quarter final of the year, the other being in the St Petersburg Ladies' Trophy. Earlier this year, Sasnovich lost to Jabeur in the last 16 of the tournament held in Doha. That was the second loss to the Tunisian in the two matches they have played. The other was in the 2019 US Open and this is their first meeting on grass. The loss in Doha was a disappointing one considering she won the first set 6-1. To get to the last eight in Berlin, Sasnovich has had wins over Anastasia Gasanova (in three sets) and Andrea Petkovic. Back Jabeur to get the victory here.
