The New York Knicks look to strengthen their chances of making the NBA play-ins with a win over Oklahoma City Thunder. New York are third in the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division, six wins behind leaders Brooklyn Nets. That has them ninth overall in the conference. Not doing so well are Oklahoma who are bottom of the West Conference Northwest Division. The Knicks have a 17-18 season record and won't mind being on the road for this game. Only seven home matches have been won by the Knicks but they are 10-7 on their travels. They are in top form coming into this game and will be looking for a fourth successive victory after wins over Atlanta, Minnesota and Detroit, the last two both being on the road. That's a good comeback after beginning December with six losses in seven games.

Oklahoma only have the Houston Rockets below them in the overall Western Conference table. They have a 12-22 season record and have lost 10 of their 17 home games this season. December 2021 wll go down in the record books but for all the wrong reasons. They're still getting over the 152-79 loss to Memphis, the worst loss in NBA history. To their credit, they came out and won the next two matches after that record loss. Form has slipped again though and three of the last four have been lost, the most recent being a 115-97 loss at Phoenix. Bet on the Knicks to win this match.
