An AFC West showdown between the bottom two teams sees the fourth-placed Las Vegas Raiders hosting the third-place Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football. Only four weeks remain in the NFL regular season as teams battle it out for their spot in the playoffs. Unfortunately for these two teams involved today, losses last week mean their chances of making it to the postseason are slim to none. The 5-8 Chargers currently hold a 4.8% chance to make it to the playoffs while the 5-8 Raiders come in at a 3.8% chance. Los Angeles suffered a 24-7 loss to the Denver Broncos last week, marking their fourth defeat in the last five games. To make matters even worse, star quarterback Justin Herbert went down for the rest of the season with a finger injury. On the bright side, his replacement Easton Stick performed well, going 13 for 24 and 179 yards.

The Raiders were involved in what many are calling the worst display of offense in the modern day NFL. It was truly one of the worst games the league had seen in a long time with the Vikings managing a 3-0 win over the Raiders on Sunday. The two teams totalled 434 total yards together and went a combined 11 for 34 on third down. It marked the first time that Las Vegas was held to zero points since week eight of last season when they lost 24-0 to the Saints. The loss was the third in a row for Vegas and all but sealed their fate. They’ll need a minor miracle if they are to turn things around and win their remaining four games to even have a shot at the postseason.
