Novak Djokovic vs Tomas Machac Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Geneva Open

Top seed Novak Djokovic faces unseeded Tomas Macac in the Geneva Open semi-finals. For the winner, there's a title decider on Saturday against either second seed Casper Ruud or unseeded Flavio Cobolli. Djokovic would probably have preferred to be training this week, not playing in Geneva. His form this year has not been great and he wants some more match time on clay courts before Roland Garros starts next week. Djokovic is yet to win a tournament this year but he also hasn't reached a final. This is his third ATP Tour semi-final having reached this stage in both the Australian Open and Monte Carlo. This week has seen him beat unseeded Yannick Hanfmann and sixth seed Tallon Griekspoor without losing a set. 

Tomas Machac is up to 39th in the live rankings and reaching the final can see him rise another five places. He won't be seeded at Roland Garros and takes on unseeded Nuno Borges in the first round. Machac missed the recent Italian Open due to injury but has played well now he's back on court. This is his first ATP Tour semi-final of the year and two previous quarter-finals had both been achieved on hard courts. This week began with a good win over Jack Draper, winning in straight sets. He ran into problems against qualifier Nicholas Moreno de Alboran and lost the first set. The second was won 7-5 and he then won the deciding set without losing a game. In the quarter-finals he beat unseeded Alex Michelsen without dropping a set. We tip Djokovic to win this in straight sets.
