Novak Djokovic vs Stefanos Tsitsipas Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP French Open

Three of the top five seeds have made it to the semi-finals of the 2020 French Open. Top seeded Novak Djokovic takes on fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, looking to reach his fifth final at Roland Garros. His opponent is hoping to qualify for his first ever Grand Slam final. Djokovic beat Pablo Carreno Busta in the quarter finals and although winning, dropped his first set of the tournament. He wasn't at his best in that match and looked to have some injury problems, though his opponent questioned how badly the world number one is. Djokovic has only lost one match all year, the infamous line-judge default at the US Open. He warmed up for this tournament with a win at the Rome Masters and is out to win only his second title at Roland Garros.

His opponent is in only his second Grand Slam semi-fnal. That was at the 2019 Australian Open, where he was beaten by Rafael Nadal in straight sets, winning just six games. His run to the last four here is a welcome one, it's only the fourth time he's made it past the fourth round of a Grand Slam. Both tournaments held this year have seen him go out in the third round. In Paris, however it's been a different story. He might not have been thinking that when two sets to love down in his first round match against Jaume Munar. That followed a loss to Jannik Sinner at the Rome Masters. Form has picked up though and since going two sets down in round one, Tsitsipas hasn't lost one. He's beaten seeded Grigor Dimitrov and Andrey Rublev but this is a far tougher task. His record against Djokovic isn't a bad one though. They are 3-3 after six meetings in the past two years. Djokovic has won two of the last three though and their only meeting on clay. As long as his fitness holds out, he can get the win in this semi-final.
