Novak Djokovic is the sixth seed in the Paris Masters but playing like the world number one. The defending champion faces fifth seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas for a place in the final. Djokovic had already qualified for the Tour Finals due to his winning Wimbledon. His quarter final win over Lorenzo Musetti has taken the Serb up to eighth in the ATP Race so he would have qualified even if not winning a Grand Slam this year. Djokovic has been in supreme form for a while now. He's bidding to make it four successive tournament wins and five in the last six. The only player who has beaten him since May is Felix Auger-Aliassime (in the Laver Cup) and the Canadian could be his opponent in the final. Djokovic is yet to drop a set in this tournament. Stefanos Tsitsipas is third in the world rankings (and the ATP Race) but will rise to second place if he wins the Paris Masters. First he has to get past Novak Djokovic though and he hasn't beaten him since 2019. He trails the Serb 8-2 in previous meetings with the last seven lost, including defeats in the Rome and Astana finals this year. The Greek has won two titles this year, winning in Monte Carlo and Mallorca. He's yet to win a hard court tournament in 2022 and has lost four finals on the surface this year. This week he's had wins over Dan Evans, Corentin Moutet and Tommy Paul without losing a set. Not the toughest of routes to a Masters semi-final. This is obviously a lot tougher and Djokovic is our tip to win this match in straight sets.
