It's the French Open final that we wanted as Rafael Nadal takes on Novak Djokovic in a battle between the top two players in the world. Nadal is bidding to win his 14th title at Roland Garros and his fourth in a row. He didn't play at the US Open and had an early exit at the Rome Masters. However, back at his beloved Roland Garros, he has made it to the final without dropping a set. His first final here was in 2005, he's played in 13 in all and not lost a single one of them. Nadal hasn't been a fan of this October tournament, moaning about how cold it is. If he were to play a long match it'd be interesting to see how he'd cope.

Novak Djokovic is the top seed for this tournament, though he has just one French Open title win to date. His only loss this year was that default in New York and he has already beaten Nadal this year. That was in the ATP Cup as he led the Serbian team to a victory over Spain in the final. Unlike his opponent, Djokovic has dropped sets in this tournament. Busta took one off him in the last eight and then Tsitsipas fought back from two sets down to force a final set. This is his first final at Roland Garros since he won his sole French Open title in 2016. Twice he has lost to Nadal in a French Open final, third time lucky? The one year he did win the title, Nadal pulled out injured in the third round. He does lead Nadal in head-to-heads 29-26 but in the past five years, the Serb has won 10 out of 13. It's going to be a great final and history can be made, for the first time Nadal can lose a French Open final.
