At one point it looked as if world number one Novak Djokovic was going to be knocked out of Roland Garros on Monday. He battled back from two sets down to Lorenzo Musetti to make it to the last eight. Now he has another Italian opponent, world number nine Matteo Berrettini.  He's only faced the Italian once, that was two years ago and he won their hard court match in straight sets. This year has seen Djokovic win the Australian Open and one of the two clay court tournaments held in Belgrade. Before Monday's Musetti match, he hadn't dropped a set in this year's French Open. He hasn't shown absolute top form for a while but should have enough to beat Berrettini but knows he has to improve. That'll definitely be the case if we end up with a dream semi-final against Rafael Nadal.

Matteo Berrettini has made it past the third round at Roland Garros for the first time in his career. He's bidding to reach only his second Grand Slam semi-final but has a tough task here. Berrettini won the other Belgrade clay court tournament and also made it to the final of the Madrid Open. He suffered an abdominal problem at the Australian Open and that kept him off court for a couple of months. The year began with him leading Italy to the ATP Cup final but he doesn't get too many wins over players ranked above him. Back Djokovic to win this in straight sets.
