Two more wins will give top seed Novak Djokovic his first Olympic title. He faces the 11th seed Lorenzo Musetti who is playing in his fifth consecutive semi-final. Can Djokovic continue his bid to win the Golden Slam? Our prediction will reveal all.

Djokovic has won everything there is to win in tennis apart from an Olympic title. The Serb hasn't won a tournament all year but a disappointing 2024 would be totally transformed if he could become the Olympic champion this weekend.

At the age of 37 this is more than likely his last chance of winning this title. He's had injury and form problems this year but did recently reach the Wimbledon final. The former French Open champion has been in good form on clay this week.

He's had wins over Matthew Ebden, Rafael Nadal, Dominik Koepfer and on Thursday, eighth-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas. He's yet to drop a set in this tournament. This match is a repeat of the recent Wimbledon semi-final and Djokovic won that in straight sets. 

He leads Musetti 6-1 in previous meetings with three of those wins coming this year. That includes beating him at Roland Garros in this year's French Open. He is again showing concern over his knee injury so keep an eye on the news.

It wouldn't be a semi-final these days without Lorenzo Musetti playing. He's in fantastic form and regularly gets to the last four. Last weekend saw him in the Croatian Open final in Umag but he lost to Francisco Cerundolo.

Now he's in Paris and one win away from an Olympic medal. The Italian has had victories over Gael Monfils, Mariano Navone, 11th seed Taylor Fritz and then came up against the defending champion Alexander Zverev.

Musetti won that in straight sets as he has all his matches this week. His run looks like ending here and we tip Novak Djokovic to win in straight sets.
