Novak Djokovic vs Kei Nishikori Prediction & Betting Tips - Olympic Tournament

Novak Djokovic bids for a 22nd straight win as he faces Japan's Kei Nishikori. This is the last eight of the men's singles at the Olympic Games and home fans will be hoping that Nishikori can cause one of the biggest upsets of the Games so far. Djokovic however is going to be almighty difficult to get past. His last two tournaments have been the French Open and Wimbledon and he won them both. Before that the world number one won a clay court tournament in Belgrade. This week has seen the Serb win each of his matches in straight sets with victories over Hugo Dellien, Jan-Lennard Struff and 16th seeded Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. 

These two players have had 18 previous meetings and Djokovic leads 16-2. At one stage in 2014, the score was 2-2 but it's been win after win for the world number one since then.  A hard task indeed for the world number 69 who is in only his third quarter final of the year and his first since Dubai in March. This is his fourth Olympics and in 2016 he won the Bronze Medal beating Rafael Nadal in the play-off match. Winning another medal in his home country would be one of the greatest moments of his career but it's not looking too likely. This week has seen him beat fifth seeded Andrey Rublev in straight sets, Marcos Giron in three sets and then Ilya Ivaska 7-6 6-0. Go for Djokovic to win this in straight sets.
