Rune has won one title and has finished as runner-up twice. He has again dominated on indoor hard courts and has compiled a 10-6 record on the surface. Having defeated Djokovic twice, once this year, Rune will head into this match confident of starting things off here with victory. Ranked eighth in the live ranking, Rune qualified for these finals as the eighth player in the live race.
