Novak Djokovic vs Daniil Medvedev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Dubai Open

Novak Djokovic is on another of his winning streaks. The top seed has won all 15 of his matches this year and takes on third seeded Daniil Medvedev in the Dubai semi-finals. Djokovic has only dropped three sets all year and two of those were in tie-breaks. The third came in his opening match of this tournament when losing the second set to qualifer Tomas Machac. He went on to win the match via a third set tie-break. It was his first match since winning the Australian Open. His other two matches in Dubai have both been won in straight sets. The quarter finals saw him beat fifth seeded Hubert Hurkacz. Djokovic is bidding to make it seven tournament wins out of eight. His only loss in a singles tournament since Roland Garros last year was in the Paris Masters final to Holger Rune.

Daniil Medvedev is also in good form. The Russian is seventh in the live rankings but will move up to sixth if he wins and Andrey Rublev loses to Alexander Zverev in the other semi-final. Medvedev has won his lst two tournaments with victories in Rotterdam and Doha. He's only beaten two top ten players to win those events. He's had one match against Djokovic this year, losing to him at this stage in the first Adelaide International. He only won six games in that match. That took the head-to-head between these two players to 9-4 in favour of Djokovic. The Serb has won each of the last four matches.  This week has seen Medvedev win each of his three matches in straight sets but the only seed faced has been Alexander Bublik.
