Carlos Alcaraz bids to win his second major title at Roland Garros this year. The Spaniard is the second seed in this Olympic tournament and faces top-seeded Novak Djokovic in Sunday's final. Here's our prediction for this much-anticipated match.

The world number three has already won the French Open here in 2024. This is his 13th match at Roland Garros this year and he’s won every outing. Only two of his last 23 matches at this stadium have ended in defeat.

He’s made it to the final in his first Olympic tournament without dropping a set. Neither Hady Habib, Tallon Griekspoor, Roman Safiullin, Tommy Paul or Felix Auger-Aliassime have been able to take a set off him. Friday's semi-final saw him drop just two games to Felix Auger-Aliassime.

The pair are 3-3 in previous meetings, but their most recent match saw Alcaraz dominate his opponent and win in straight sets at Wimbledon. They are 1-1 on clay but it's the Spaniard who has the momentum at present.

Novak Djokovic needs to win this match to complete the Golden Slam. He's yet to win a tournament this year and this is only his second final. The Serb has also reached this final without dropping a set. He's had wins over Matthew Ebden, Rafael Nadal, Dominik Koepfer, Stefanos Tsitipas and Lorenzo Musetti.

He also had few problems in his semi-final on Friday. Lorenzo Musetti only won six games against the top seed. Djokovic still has injury problems and we tip Alcaraz to win in straight sets.
