Norway take on Argentina in Group B of the Men's Olympic Handball tournament. After this match, the two countries still have to play Denmark, Hungary, France and Egypt. Our analysis and prediction looks at whether the Gladiators can get a shock win over Norway.

Norway lost in the quarter-finals in 2021 and will want to improve on that this year. Last year saw them fiinish sixth in the World Championships but they lost in the Main Round of this year's Euros. They come into this Olympic tournament in good form with eight wins and a draw in their last nine matches. Not since January have they been beaten.

Argentina didn't qualify for the Olympics until 2012. They haven't achieved a great deal of Olympic success and have always been eliminated in the Preliminary Round. Of their 15 matches, only two have been won with all the others ending in defeat.

They also lost in the Main Round of the World Championships last year and have never finished higher than 11th. Success did come in the Pan-American Games last year but this is a far tougher assignment for them.

That's illustrated by the fact thay have lost their last five matches with four being lost by more than ten goals. May of this year saw them lose to Norway 40-28. We tip Norway to win this match on a -6.5 goals handicap.
