Norway vs Algeria Prediction & Betting Tips - Handball World Championship

Algeria take on Norway in their second match in Group III of the Main Round. Their chances of making it into the quarter finals are looking rather slim and will disappear after this game. They are currently bottom of the group without a point to their name. They finished third in their preliminary round group but their only win came against Morocco who finished bottom. Defeats to Iceland and Portugal by a combined total of 22 goals, meant they had no points to carry through to this group. They needed to get a win from their first match in this new group but lost 29-26 to France to further damage their qualification hopes. They had led early on in that game but now know that only a win can continue their hopes of making it into the knockout stages.

Norway are third in the group but level on points with Portugal in second. They caused a big shock in their last match, getting a 29-28 win over the Portuguese. That was their third win in these championships, having  previously defeated Switzerland and Austria. Only France have been able to beat them so far. They will be confident of continuing their good form with a win over Algeria, before taking on Iceland in their final group match.
