Northampton begin this game in second place in the pool behind Racing 92.  They trail them by seven points after losing to them away and only drawing with the French side at home. Northampton are only a point clear of Glasgow who they have already beaten away from home. With the pool leaders home to Scarlets this weekend, the chances of Northampton winning the pool and automatically qualifying for the last eight aren't looking good for either of these two sides. There are three places available for the best second placed teams so Northampton, in particular, will be keen to get a win here and then beat Scarlets in their final group match with a few bonus points thrown in for good measure. For Glasgow, they'll need a win here and at home to Racing in the final game to stand any chance of qualification, I definitely wouldn't bet a penny on them though. Northampton have done well in this group aside from the games with Racing and can get a win here to keep their qualification hopes alive and knock out Glasgow.
