Turkey are likely to end second in this group behind Australia but know that their win in their opening fixture against Argentina should guarantee they finish in the top three in this group ensuring them of a place in the knock-out stages. They beat Argentina 63-37 in a low-scoring match winning the first three quarters but losing the final one 13-12 but were never in any danger of losing the game. The win ended a run of two defeats to Belgium and Australia, who they'll meet in their final group match. 

Nigeria are in the World Cup finals for only the second time and are still looking for their first win. They lost all three group games 12 years ago and began this tournament with a 86-68 defeat by Australia, though they did win one of the quarters. They won the AfroBasket tournament to qualify for these finals but will find this difficult and it's their final game against Argentina which will determine if they can get out of this group.
