New Zealand vs France Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by | in Rugby Predictions
The past few weeks have been spent watching mainly reserve All-Black sides hammering sides such as Namibia, Georgia and Tonga. Before that, way back on September 19, they had their only real test of the tournament so far as they defeated Argentina 26-16. With the pool won and 25 tries under their belt, it's back to real competitive international rugby as they take on France in the quarter finals. The French drew this unlucky straw as a result of finishing second in their pool after losing to Ireland at the weekend. They have had some success against the All-Blacks in the past with wins in the 1999 and 2007 World Cups, can they make it a treble of wins in this tournament and cause a major shock? I don't think so, recent form against New Zealand has been poor and their performance against Ireland didn't look like one of a side that would be beating the world champions the following weekend. New Zealand have only once failed to reach the semi-finals (that surprise defeat by France in 2007) and I think they can win this and cover the handicap.
