New Zealand vs Australia Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup

New Zealand are one game away from becoming the first team to ever retain the Rugby Union World Cup. This final against Australia at Twickenham has all the promise of being an absolute classic. It's being played between the top two teams in the world as all good world cup finals should be. Both sides have had a few struggles to get this far. Australia had tough battles against Wales and Scotland, while New Zealand had a hard time getting the better of Argentina in their opening game and South Africa in the semi-finals.  Both sides can play open rugby of the absolute highest class and hopefully that's what we'll be seeing this weekend. At times New Zealand have been absolutely awesome, no more so than when they destroyed France in the quarter finals. Australia have had their moments too but haven't got the greatest of records against the All-Blacks. They did get a win over them in the Rugby Championship this year but that's their only win in the last 12 meetings between these sides. New Zealand have had a habit of looking supreme but still not delivering the goods. Nerves seemed to affect them in the 2011 final when they narrowly beat France, they can't afford that this time and I believe they can win another World Cup here but it'll be a close game.
