The Washington Wizards will travel to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks in the NBA on Tuesday morning. The Knicks (7-6) are fourth in the Eastern Conference, while the Wizards (2-10) are 13th in the conference standings. Check out our match prediction below. 

The New York Knicks have been heating up nicely over the last week and are now gunning for a third win in a row after beating the Brooklyn Nets 114-104 last night. 

Karl-Anthony Towns had another standout performance with 26 points and 15 rebounds, while OG Anunoby added 24 points. However, the disappointment was that New York’s bench only contributed 11 points in the match.

The Knicks are top-half on both ends this season, 10th in points scored per game (115.5), while they are 12th in points against, allowing 111.5 per game. 

In contrast, the Washington Wizards have been ice-cold recently and suffered their eighth defeat on the bounce 124-104 to the improving Detroit Pistons last night.

Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole both scored 22 points, but the team were blown away in the third quarter when the Pistons drained 37 points and never looked likely to be reigned in. 

The Wizards are now 21st in the scoring charts, putting up 110.3 PPG, but are dead last defensively, allowing a massive 123.9 points per outing.
