The New York Knicks are enduring a poor run of form and suffered their fourth loss in six on Saturday night when they were beaten by the surging Warriors 97-94 on the road. 

Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby combined for 52 points, but as a team, New York shot just 43% from the field and made nine of 24 from beyond the arc. 

The Knicks are the sixth-highest-scoring team in the NBA this season, averaging 116.7 points per game. They allow 112.4, which ranks 13th overall.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been one of the coldest teams in the East in recent weeks and are now on a seven-match losing streak after a thumping 125-91 defeat to the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Miami’s offensive woes continued with no player scoring above 20 points, while as a team, they shot a poor 39% from the field and made nine of 34 from long range. 

The Heat are now the fifth-lowest-scoring team in the league (109.3), but they are still a top-10 defence that allows just 110.7 PPG.
