The New York Knicks will welcome the LA Lakers in their next assignment in the NBA. Both teams are having strong seasons and sit in the top five in their respective conferences. Read on for our prediction for this match.

The Knicks have won five straight matches, tightening their grip in the top three out in the East. Currently, with a 32-16 record, Tom Thibodeau’s men have clawed their way to just one game adrift of second-placed Celtics.

In their current hot streak, they beat the Hawks, Grizzlies, Kings, Nets and Nuggets. Against the Nuggets, the Knicks earned a 122-112 victory. Josh Hart has been listed in the injury report due to a knee issue and is questionable to go.

The Lakers are also coming into this game in strong form and will be confident of throwing water on New York’s hot streak. J.J. Redick’s men, who sit fifth in the West, have won seven times in their last nine matches.
