The New York Knicks will play host to the Houston Rockets at Madison Square Garden in the NBA on Monday night. The Knicks (32-17) are third in the Eastern Conference while the Rockets (32-16) are third in the East. Let’s get into the match prediction!

The New York Knicks will be looking to get back to winning ways after seeing their five-match win streak brought to an end by the Lakers 128-112 on Saturday. 

Josh Hart posted a triple-double of 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, but New York allowed LA to score 37 points in the fourth quarter which led to their downfall. 

The Knicks are still the fourth-highest scoring team in the NBA this season at 117.7 points per game, and are eighth on the defensive end, allowing 111.2 PPG.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been in great shape this season but suffered a second straight defeat on Saturday, losing 110-98 to the Brooklyn Nets. 

Jalen Green put up 29 points while Dillon Brooks and Tari Eason combined for 28. As a team, Houston shot just 40% from the field and made 12 of 39 from beyond the arc. 

The Rockets are mid-table in the scoring charts, averaging 113.6 points per game (13th) but they are a top-five side on the defensive end, allowing just 108.5 PPG.
