The New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons will face off in Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs at Madison Square Garden on Monday. The Knicks lead the series 1-0 after beating the Pistons 123-112 on Saturday night. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

The New York Knicks were made to work for their lead in the series, but they got there in style, coming from eight points behind at the start of the fourth quarter thanks to a 21-0 run late in the day. 

Jalen Brunson led the charge with 34 points and 12 assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 23 points, 11 rebounds and five assists on 10 of 14 shooting from the floor. 

There is a minor concern over the fitness of Brunson for this match as he was seen limping in the second half. He missed 15 games this season owing to an ankle injury. 

Meanwhile, the Detroit Pistons played solid ball for three quarters in Game 1, but they totally collapsed in the closing stages and suffered their 15th consecutive loss in the Playoffs. 

Despite Tobias Harris putting up 25 points and six rebounds, and Cade Cunningham adding 21 points, Detroit committed a total of 21 turnovers in the match, which led to 25 points for New York. 

Isaiah Stewart hobbled off the court in the fourth quarter with what was later revealed to be an issue with his knee. He is a doubt for this match, while Jaden Ivery is ruled out.
