New York Knicks vs Brooklyn Nets Prediction & Betting Tips - NBA

The New York Knicks host the Brooklyn Nets at Madison Square Garden for this battle of New York clash in the NBA. Both teams have been having disappointing seasons given the expectations and their results in the previous campaign. The Knicks haven’t been able to replicate the stellar play that saw them achieve the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference last season. They currently sit well outside of the playoff race in 12th place with a record of 25 wins and 33 losses. Their opponents today finally snapped their horrid 10 game losing streak with a win against the Kings in their last game. The Nets were sitting atop the East before suffering injuries to key players and the resulting plummet down the standings saw the front office make a major trade by dealing James Harden to the Sixers for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and Andre Drummond. 

Although this is technically an away game for the Nets, Kyrie Irving will still be unavailable due to the vaccine mandates in the state of New York. That leaves Brooklyn without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Iriving and Ben Simmons, who won’t be ready in time for this one. Both teams have been on a downward spiral, with the Knicks only winning two of their last 10 and the Nets finally ending the aforementioned losing streak. The good news for the Nets though is that the role players looked great in the last game, especially Seth Curry, who looks like he will be an excellent fit on this team. Even without their “big three” this Nets team added a lot of depth with the Harden trade. Shooting guard Bruce Brown Jr. took the time to talk to reporters about how great the atmosphere in the locker room is now and their performance in the last game is a positive sign for the Brooklyn faithful.
