New England Patriots are already in a strong position in the AFC East. They top that division having won all six of their games played this season and travel to New York Jets who are third in the division with a 1-4 record. The Patriots are the defending Super Bowl champions and have been in dominant form this season. They have had one close game, a 16-10 win at Buffalo Bills but all the other five wins have come with at least a 16 points margin. They have already played the New York Jets this season, beating them 30-14 at home in week three of the season.

The Jets are 1-4 for the season and it's not looking like they are going to make the play-offs. for the first time since 2010. They had a 4-12 record last season and made a miserable start to the new campaign with four straight defeats. Losses came against Buffalo (by a single point), Cleveland, that defeat by the Patriots and Philadelphia. Their first win finally came last week when beating Dallas Cowboys 24-22. They had to withstand a final quarter comeback by the Cowboys, losing that by ten points but still holding onto the win. This looks booked for a Patriots win, go for them to be ahead at half and full time.
