Monday Night Football in the NFL sees the 4-8 New York Giants playing host to the 6-6 Green Bay Packers for week 14. It’s been a difficult season for the Giants who were unable to replicate their surprise run from last year which saw them finish 9-7-1 and make the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs. Quarterback Daniel Jones’ struggles this season has greatly contributed to the Giants’ poor results as the 26-year-old had thrown for just two touchdowns and six interceptions before a torn achilles would end his season last month. His replacement, Tommy Devito, has performed brilliantly and has led the G-Men to a 2-1 record as a starter which includes back-to-back wins. New York grinded out a 10-7 home win over the Patriots in their last outing which was preceded by a 31-19 win over the Commanders. Devito has made the most of his opportunity and has thrown for 697 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions in his four games so far.

Green Bay is making a late season run at a Wild Card spot as they’ve ripped off three straight wins to pull level with second-place Minnesota in the NFC North. As things stand, the Packers would be into the playoffs if the season were to end today and they currently hold a 69.7% chance to make the postseason ahead of this Monday night showdown. Green Bay’s most recent appearance ended in a fantastic 27-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs which saw Jordan Love throw for 267 yards and three touchdowns. The 25-year-old has really come along in the past few weeks and has now thrown for eight touchdowns and zero interceptions on the Packers’ current three-game winning streak. Green Bay was also able to earn wins over the Chargers and the Lions, with the win over Detroit snapping a four game road losing streak.
