New Orleans Saints are the hot favourites to beat the Minnesota Viking in this NFC Wild Card match. The Saints were easy winners of the NFC South winning 13 of their 16 matches, next best in that division were the Atlanta Falcons who only won seven games. New Orleans also showed their dominance against other sides in the NFC with a conference record of 9-3. They come into the play-offs in top form having won six of their last seven games and are the third seeds in the NFC. Their only recent defeat was by the San Francisco 49ers who are the top seeds and that was a titanic 48-46 loss. 

The Vikings have it all to do to get through to a possible NFC Divisional play-off match against the Green Bay Packers. They are the sixth seeds in the NFC after finishing second behind the Packers in the NFC North with a 10-6 record. Their regular season didn't have a great end with defeats in their final two games against the Packers and the Chicago Bears. New Orleans QB Drew Brees has been in top form of late and he can lead his team into the next round.
