The New Orleans Pelicans are at home against the Houston Rockets seeking to end a seven-match losing streak in the NBA. The hosts sit bottom of the pile in the Western Conference whereas their opponents are on the opposite end in second. Below is our prediction for this match.

The Pelicans possess the second-longest active losing streak. This season has been a catastrophe for Willie Green’s men. They have lost 25 of 30 games and only one other team has a worse off record.

The Pels, who were blown out by the Rockets a week ago, are coming off a 132-129 OT loss to the Nuggets. Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Karlo Matkovic remain in the treatment room and will not be available.

The Rockets have won their last three matches. This run started with the dominant victory over the Pels. Ime Udoka’s men, who are on the final match of a three-game road trip, defeated the Hornets 114-101 last time out.

The Rockets are flying high. They have won 20 of their 29 matches which is the fourth-best record across the two conferences. Dillon Brooks missed the trip to Charlotte with an ankle issue and might be on the sidelines once again here.
