The Celtics have won seven straight meetings with the Pelicans. In their most recent matchup, however, this winning streak came close to being snapped.

Joe Mazzulla’s men, who have been inconsistent in their play lately, battled to win a close game 120-119 two weeks ago at home.

The Celtics, who could be without veteran forward Al Horford for this trip, got back to winning ways last time out. They defeated the Bulls 122-100 at home to claim only their second victory in the last four games.
