New England Patriots vs Chicago Bears Prediction & Betting Tips - NFL
by Joseph King | in NFL Predictions
The Chicago Bears head to Beantown to take on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium for this NFL week seven Monday Night Football matchup. Despite sitting at the bottom of the AFC East, New England is still alive after a big 38-15 win over the Browns last week has now made it two wins on the bounce for Bill Belichick’s men. After a 1-3 start to the season, New England has battled back to .500 and now sit 3-3 on the year with an excellent chance to get their fourth win and third in a row here. It has not been a great season for the Bears and second-year quarterback Justin Fields. However, despite all of their offensive struggles, the Bears have still managed to win two games and sit third in the NFC North with a 2-4 record. Their last outing was an ugly 12-7 loss to Washington.

New England Patriots - Chicago Bears: Form Analysis
The Bears will be extremely disappointed after their Thursday Night Football loss to Washington as they managed to create 391 total yards to the Commanders’ 214. A poor throw from Justin Fields resulted in the Bears coming up a yard short on the final play of the game when they had the chance to win it with a touchdown. We’ll have to see how the Bears bounce back from such a gut-wrenching loss and a trip to Gillette Stadium is certainly no easy task. Chicago has now lost all three of their away games and come up against a Patriots team building momentum with two straight victories.

New England Patriots & Chicago Bears Squad Analysis
Justin Fields has received a lot of criticism for the Bears poor offensive performances. The 23-year-old has managed only 869 passing yards this season while throwing for four touchdowns and five interceptions. The Patriots will be hoping to get their young quarterback Mac Jones back for this game after the 24-year-old missed the last three games due to an ankle injury. New England hasn’t missed a beat in his absence though, going 2-1 since the QB went down with their only loss a close 27-24 overtime defeat to the Packers.

Our New England Patriots vs Chicago Bears Prediction
We’re going to back the New England Patriots to get the win and cover the -8 point spread. This is a really bad matchup for the visiting Chicago Bears. They have a young quarterback, which has historically resulted in an absolute feast for the Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick, as well as arguably the worst offense in the league coming up against a top 10 defense. The Bears will find it extremely tough to get back in the game against this defense if they do manage to fall behind early on. Look for the Patriots to record a relatively straightforward win in primetime here.
