Netherlands vs Norway Prediction & Betting Tips - Women's EHF Euro

Norway will be out to maintain their flawless record at the 2024 European Women's Handball Championship when they take on the Netherlands on Saturday evening. The Oranje Dames currently lead Group II in the main round while Handballjentene are right behind them in second place. Check out our match prediction below. 

Norway were head and shoulders the best team in Group E of the preliminary round, as they stormed to the top of the standings with three comfortable wins against Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia. 

Handballjentene then faced their toughest opponent to date, Norway, on Thursday evening, and after a heated matchup, emerged with a hard-fought 27-24 win, keeping their unbeaten record intact. 

With those results, Norway have now won 16 and drawn one of their last 17 matches in all competitions dating back to their first match at the 2024 Paris Olympics in July. 

Meanwhile, the Netherlands also came through their preliminary group with three wins in three, scoring 99 goals while conceding 70 combined across those matches. 

The Oranje Dames then took a four-goal lead into the halftime break against Slovenia on Thursday in their first main-round match and held on to that advantage to beat their opponent 26-22. 

The Dutch women have now split their last 10 matches five wins and five losses, but have not beat their upcoming opponents in any of their last four encounters since October 2022.
