This first week in the Premier League is being played in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Eight players are competing with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final all on one action-packed night.
Humphries comes into this tournament fresh from winning the Winmau World Masters. He’s top of the PDC Order of Merit with his opponent down in tenth place. The winner of the 2024 World Championships reached the Premier League final last year, losing to Luke Littler. He won four nights before the play-offs with victories in Brighton, Nottingham. Dublin and Leeds and was the losing finalist on three occasions.
These two players met six times in last year’s Premier League with Humphries winning four of them. All his wins came by a margin of at least two legs.
Nathan Aspinall finished fifth in the Premier League last year. Two nights were won with those victories coming in Exeter and Rotterdam.
