Match two of Night 12 in the Darts Premier League will see Nathan Aspinall taking on Chris Dobey in Birmingham. The Asp is in fourth place in the league standings with 17 points, while Hollywood is seventh with 12 points. Let’s get into the match prediction.
After two impressive weeks, both in the Premier League and the Players Championship, Nathan Aspinall was brought crashing back to earth last week when he was beaten 6-3 in the first round by Luke Humphries on Night 12.
Over the weekend, the Asp delivered another underwhelming performance on the European Tour 5, losing his first-round match against 41st-ranked Kevin Doets 6-2.
While Aspinall has won six of his last 10 matches across all competitions, only one of those victories has come since April 17.
Similarly, Chris Dobey had an incredible Night 11 in the Premier League, winning his first final of the season, but followed up with a first-round elimination to Gerwyn Price in Liverpool last week.
Hollywood produced an impressive performance to beat Ricardo Pietreczko in his first match at the European Tour 5, but fell 6-3 to Martin Schindler in the quarter-final.
