Nashville Predators vs Minnesota Wild Prediction & Betting Tips - NHL

The Central Division is really starting to heat up and early Friday morning, the red-hot 33-25-2 Nashville Predators will welcome the 28-25-6 Minnesota Wild. A recent winning run has seen them draw level with the Los Angeles Kings as the second wildcard, picking up 12 points from their last six games. Five of those wins came on the road, they have been better away from Bridgestone Arena this season but they tacked on a home win, 4-1 over the Ottawa Senators. This is their joint longest home stand of the season so it would be a good time for them to improve their record. Outscoring their opponents 26-11 during this win streak, things are going well on both sides of the puck with their captain Roman Josi picking up eight points in the six wins while Gus Nyquist has four goals in the last five games.
Minnesota has been very comfortable on their travels of late, picking up as many wins on the road as they have at home. Seven wins in their last eight games away from the Xcel Energy Center have come at some excellent teams, including putting away the Florida Panthers, the Edmonton Oilers and the defending champions, the Vegas Golden Knights. They won 6-1 the last time that they were in Music City to take on the Preds and they will not fuss themselves that Nashville are on a winning streak. Kirill Kaprizov missed seven games with injury but still has 63 points on the season to lead the team and he has been supported by youngsters Matt Boldy, Brock Faber and Marco Rossi who are all either 21 or 22 years old and who have 47, 34 and 33 points respectively.
