Naomi Osaka vs Victoria Azarenka Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA US Open

Naomi Osaka bids to win the US Open for the second time in three years. To do so, she has to defeat the in-form Victoria Azarenka who is looking to win her second tournament in a row. Osaka won this title in 2018 and followed that up with a victory in the 2019 Australian Open. She failed to build on that run of form though and this is the first time since that win down under, that she's made it past the fourth round of a Grand Slam. Oaska hasn't had an easy run to her third Grand Slam final. Three times she has had to go to three sets to get the win. That happened in the sem-final when she had to go to the final set to get the win over 28th seeded Jennifer Brady.

Victora Azarenka won the Western & Southern tournament that was held in the week before this event started. She was due to take on Osaka in the final of that tournament but her opponent pulled out due to injury. Azarenka won her first Grand Slam title when Osaka was only 14. 2012 and 2013 were Azarenka's golden years with two Australian Open wins and being the beaten finalist in two US Opens. That took her to the top of the world rankings but she hadn't made it past a Grand Slam quarter final since until this tournament. Injuries and off-the court personal problems have hit her hard but she is now back in top form. In this tournament, Azarenka has beaten Aryna Sabalena, Karolina Muchova, Elise Mertens and Serena Williams (avenging those two US Open defeats) and now looks to get a fifth win over seeded opponents when taking on Osaka. This should be a great final and one in which it is hard to pick a winner.  Osaka has beaten her opponent twice, but both were won on a clay surface. Azarenka is in great form but so is Osaka who knows how to win a US Open. A bet on over 21.5 games being played looks the one to make.
