This match would be worthy of the final as Naomi Osaka takes on Serena Williams in the last four of the Australian Open. With the other semi-final being between Karolina Muchova and Jennifer Brady, the winner here will be overwhelming favourite to win the title. The two of course had an infamous US Open final in 2018, hopefully Williams will be in a better mood this time. Osaka followed that US Open win with a victory here a few months later. Having won in New York last year, she's out to repeat that feat. Her draw in this tournament has not been an easy one. Wins have come against Carolina Garcia, Ons Jabeur, Garibine Muguruza and in the last eight, Su-wei. 

Serena Williams last won a Grand Slam title in 2017 when winning this tournament. Ever since then she has been trying to win the Grand Slam singles title that will equal the all-time record of wins. Four Grand Slam finals have been lost since then but this tournament again presents her with a good chance of finally getting that victory. Williams has only dropped one set so far, that was in the fourth round against Aryna Sabalenka. The quarter final was against the second seeded Simone Halep, but Williams won that one in straight sets for the loss of only six games. Williams has only won one of her three matches against Osaka but it was the most recent one that she won. This should be a cracker and a bet on Osaka to win is the suggested wager.
