Jaume Munar vs Albert Ramos Vinolas Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Santiago Open

Two Spanish players meet in the second round of the 2024 Chile Open. Eighth seed Jaume Munar takes on unseeded Albert Ramos Vinolas with the winner going into the last eight of this outdoor clay court tournament. The potential quarter final opponents are either the second seed Sebastian Baez or unseeded Juan Pablo Virallas. Munar is 70th in the latest ranking list but down at 80th in the live rankings. The reason for that is he's defending the points earned when reaching the semi-finals of this ATP 250 tournament last year. 2024 has seen Munar reach one quarter final. That was in the clay court tournament held in Cordoba. His record against Vinolas is a poor one with just a single success in six previous meetings. Their last match was in July of last year with Munar winning in three sets. That was their first match since 2020 and some as far back as 2015 and 2016. Round one of this tournament saw him Bernabe Zapata Miralles for the loss of only five games. 

Albert Ramos Vinolas was ranked 104th at the start of this tournament in Santiago. He's risen two places after a straight sets win over Hugo Dellien in round one with only five games being lost. Vinolas is aged 36 now and was as high as 17th in the rankings but that was achieved seven years ago. The Spaniard has had an inconsistent year to date and a win here would take him into his first quarter final of 2024. We tip Munar to make sure that doesn't happen.
