Muchova K / Noskova L vs Bucsa C / Sorribes Tormo S Prediction & Betting Tips - Olympic Tournament Doubles

Spain's Cristina Bucsa and Sara Sorribes-Tormo battle it out with Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova from the Czech Republic on Sunday. The winners will take home the bronze medal in this women's doubles Olympic tournament. Here's our match prediction.

It's been an up and down week for the pairing of Muchova and Noskova. The high point was beating American top seeds Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff in round two. They went on to reach the semi-finals bt were beaten by the Italian partnership of Errani and Paolini, winning just five games.

Muchova is only ranked 578th in doubles but hadn't played in a doubles tournament since August of last year before this Olympic tournament. Noskova has more experience and is world ranked 82nd. Earlier this year, she reached a WTA doubles final in Dubai with Heather Watson.

Bucsa and Tormo also had a tough semi-final. They lost to Andreeva and Shnaider and only won three games. The eighth seeds had won two matches in straight sets before having to go to three in the quarter-finals. 

Tormo is 71st in the world rankings and has won a WTA 1000 doubles title this year and that was with Tormo as her partner. That's one of three titles she's won this year and is ranked 20th. A close match looks likely here and we go for  Tormo and Bucsa to win the bronze.
