Corentin Moutet is seeking to make his way to only the second tour final of his career. The Frenchman was handed a walkover in the quarter-finals by top seed Andrey Rublev. He has, therefore, had more time to prepare for this match.

Moutet, who is through to his second tour semi of the year, has compiled a 31-25 record and is ranked 76th in the live ranking. The 25-year-old defeated Norrie two years ago on an indoor surface at the Paris Masters. This was the last time they met.

Cameron Norrie is the more experienced tour player in this tie. He has progressed to 14 tour finals and won five titles. The Briton has, however, never made it to a final on an indoor surface.
