Tournament favorites Poland play their final match in Pool C. They are top with maximum points and face Montenegro who are in fifth place. An unlikely win over the team ranked number one in the world can take Montenegro into the last 16. We don't see that happening though as Poland are in top form. They have won all four of their matches so far and only lost one set. That was when they played the Netherlands (second in the pool) when losing the first set. Their most recent match saw Poland again in dominant form as they beat Denmark in straight sets. That was particularly the case in set two in which they only conceded nine points. They are top of this pool but a heavy loss could see them end up in second place, though that is extremely unlikely. Winning this pool will take them into a last 16 match against Belgium.

Montenegro have just the three points in this pool as they go into this final match. Only one of their four matches has so far been won. They achieved that lone success against Denmark who are bottom of the pool and who lost all five of their matches. Montenegro are ranked 42nd in the world so a top four finish in Pool C was always going to be a tough job for them  Their three defeats in this pool have all been lost without them winning a set.
